Football just said:

Could Sergio Aguero be heading to Manchester United?

After losing to Arsenal over the weekend, Manchester United could be seeing the arrival of one of the best strikers in the world, the son-in-law of Diego Maradona himself.

According to a British news outlet, Jose Mourinho may be planning to catch the Manchester City striker in a big-money deal this summer, and it would come as one of the most controversial deals seen in the history of the Premier League, but would Manchester City sell the top striker to city rivals? That’s a question for another day.

Aguero missed last week’s 5-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace due to injury, but he had managed to net 7 goals in the last 9 matches he featured in. In all competition, Aguero has scored 22 goals this season even though he had suffered an injury earlier in the season.

Sergio Aguero is facing a tough challenge from Brazilian, Gabriel Jesus; and we don’t know if he will still be in favor with Guardiola come next season as the boss has always shown that he would prefer to play Jesus over Aguero.

United are looking for a striker, and prior to Ibrahimovic’s injury, the Red Devils have been on the look-out for a replacement or support. Rumelu Lukaku, Griezmann and many others have been linked to the United job, and even though Rashford has proved useful in the past few matches, Jose Mourinho isn’t the type to give unknown players big chances, he will rather look for an established player.
